Genius Roof Solutions secures investment from BCF Equity Partners to accelerate growth plans.

Genius Roof Solutions, the Lancashire-based designer of innovative roofing products has secured majority investment from BCF Equity Partners, the Stamford-based family office, to support its next phase of growth.

Headquartered in Leyland, Lancashire, and trading for nearly 20 years, Genius Roof Solutions (the trading name of HallClip Ltd) is a multi-generation business that designs and supplies time-saving products for professional roofers, solar installers and distributors. Its range includes the Hallclip®, a stainless spring steel clip that replaces lead wedges, the SolarFlash® system for weatherproofing roofs around solar panel brackets, and the revolutionary, patented SpeedFlash®, a rapid, no-drill flashing solution for mounting solar brackets on slate roofs that minimises slate removal.

The business was built on the ingenuity of founder and inventor Jimmy Hall, a working roofer with more than 50 years' experience in the industry. Jimmy conceived the Hallclip® while working on a terraced house in London in 1996. More than 80 million Hallclip® units have since been sold, and the company's products are now used by roofing professionals across the UK and in a growing number of international markets.

With the rapid growth of rooftop solar installation and a sustained focus on roof repair and maintenance, demand is rising for products that help installers work faster while protecting the integrity of the roof. Genius Roof Solutions has positioned itself as a trusted partner to the solar sector, ensuring panels are fitted without compromising the weatherproofing of the roof beneath.

BCF Equity Partners is backing the Genius management team, led by Jemma Green, Julia White and Liz Cammack (Non-Exec) with plans to broaden the product range, extend distribution in the UK and accelerate the next phase of the growth.
